PARTNER WITH YOUNG LEADERS YOUTH SERVICES

Stronger Partnerships. Stronger Communities. Brighter Futures

At Young Leaders Youth Services, we believe lasting change is rarely created by one organisation working alone.

It happens when people come together. When schools, businesses, community organisations, government services, sporting clubs, employers and local leaders recognise that they each have something valuable to contribute, we can create opportunities for young people that simply would not exist otherwise.

That is what partnership means to us. It isn't about placing two logos next to each other. It is about combining our strengths, resources, networks, knowledge and passion to create something meaningful for the young people and communities we serve. When you partner with Young Leaders Youth Services, you become part of a bigger story one focused on connection, opportunity, early intervention, positive role modelling and giving young people genuine pathways towards their future.

WHY PARTNER WITH US?

Every young person deserves someone who believes in them and a community willing to create opportunities for them. Unfortunately, not every young person begins with the same opportunities, support networks or positive influences around them. Some young people need someone to open the first door. Others need someone to walk through it with them. Our mentors work directly alongside young people, building genuine relationships and helping them develop confidence, independence, practical skills and stronger connections with their community. But mentorship becomes even more powerful when an entire community stands behind it. Through partnership, we can connect young people with experiences beyond traditional support services  workplaces, sporting clubs, businesses, education, trades, community events, workshops, training opportunities and positive networks. A conversation can become a connection. A connection can become an opportunity. An opportunity can become a career, a qualification, a new passion or simply the moment a young person begins believing in themselves. That is the impact partnership can create.

WHO CAN PARTNER WITH US?

Partnership with Young Leaders Youth Services is open to organisations and individuals who share our commitment to strengthening opportunities for young people and our communities.

We welcome partnerships with:

  • Schools & Education Providers: Work alongside our mentors to strengthen student engagement, wellbeing, peer connection and participation through mentoring, workshops and practical programs.
  • Local Businesses & Employers: Give young people exposure to industries, workplaces, employment pathways, work experience, skills development and positive professional role models.
  • Sporting Clubs & Fitness Organisations: Help us use sport, teamwork, discipline and physical activity as powerful tools for mentoring, connection and personal development.
  • Barbers, Trades & Industry Professionals: Share practical skills and industry knowledge while helping young people discover pathways they may never have considered.
  • Community Organisations & Not-for-Profits: Collaborate on programs, events, outreach initiatives and early-intervention opportunities that respond directly to community needs.
  • Government & Local Councils: Work collaboratively on initiatives that increase youth participation, community engagement, inclusion and access to opportunities.
  • Police, Youth Justice & Community Safety Partners: Support preventative and early-intervention initiatives that strengthen relationships between young people, services and their communities.
  • Corporate & Philanthropic Partners: Support programs, activities, equipment, events and opportunities that allow us to reach more young people and increase our community impact.

HOW CAN YOU PARTNER WITH US?

There is no single model for partnership because every organisation has something different to offer. Your contribution does not always need to be financial. You might provide a venue for a youth program. Your employees might share their skills through a workshop. A sporting organisation might provide young people with access to training. A business might offer workplace exposure, work experience or employment opportunities.

A company might sponsor equipment, uniforms, activities, transport or a community event. A school might collaborate with us to develop an engagement program specifically for its students. A community organisation might identify an unmet need and work alongside us to build a solution.

Partnerships can include:

  • Program and event collaboration
  • Corporate sponsorship
  • Community sponsorship
  • School-based programs and workshops
  • Workplace and industry exposure
  • Employment and work-experience pathways
  • Skills-based volunteering
  • Venue and facility partnerships
  • Sporting and recreational opportunities
  • Equipment, resources and in-kind contributions
  • Community events and outreach
  • Referral partnerships
  • Youth engagement initiatives
  • Co-designed programs responding to local community needs

We want partnerships to be meaningful, practical and mutually beneficial.

If you have an idea, we want to hear it.

WHAT YOUR PARTNERSHIP CAN CREATE

Imagine a young person walking into a workplace for the first time and discovering an industry they never knew existed. Imagine a student who struggles in a traditional classroom discovering confidence through learning a practical skill. Imagine a young person who feels disconnected from their community joining a sporting program and finding positive friendships and mentors. Imagine a local business meeting a young person through one of our programs and eventually giving them their first employment opportunity. These moments matter. Partnerships can create opportunities that extend far beyond a single program or event.

Together, we can help create:

  • Belonging — young people feeling connected to positive people, organisations and communities.
  • Opportunity — access to experiences, industries, education and pathways that may otherwise feel out of reach.
  • Confidence — opportunities for young people to discover what they are capable of.
  • Skills — practical, social and employment skills that support independence.
  • Positive Relationships — trusted connections with mentors, employers, community leaders and positive role models.
  • Early Intervention — engaging young people before challenges become crises.
  • Community Connection — breaking down barriers between young people and the organisations around them.
  • Future Pathways — creating bridges into education, training, employment and community participation.

The greatest outcome isn't simply delivering another program. It is helping create communities where young people can see a future for themselves.

WHAT DO OUR PARTNERS RECEIVE IN RETURN?

We believe strong partnerships must create value for everyone involved. Depending on the nature of the partnership, organisations may receive opportunities for:

  • Community Recognition: Recognition of your organisation's contribution to youth development and community impact across relevant YLYS platforms and initiatives.
  • Brand Exposure: Opportunities for appropriate brand recognition across sponsored programs, community events, promotional materials, social media and selected campaigns.
  • Community Engagement: Direct involvement in meaningful initiatives that connect your organisation with young people, families, schools and community networks.
  • Corporate Social Impact: A tangible way to demonstrate your organisation's commitment to social responsibility, youth development and stronger communities.
  • Staff Engagement: Opportunities for employees to contribute their knowledge, skills and professional experience through workshops, mentoring, events or community initiatives.
  • Impact Stories & Outcomes: Where appropriate and with privacy and safeguarding requirements respected, we can share information about the outcomes and community impact made possible through our partnership.
  • Long-Term Collaboration: Our goal isn't simply to create one-off transactions. We want to develop genuine relationships with organisations that believe in what we are trying to achieve.

Most importantly, you receive the opportunity to know that your organisation helped create something that may have changed the direction of a young person's life.
