At Young Leaders Youth Services, we believe lasting change is rarely created by one organisation working alone.
It happens when people come together. When schools, businesses, community organisations, government services, sporting clubs, employers and local leaders recognise that they each have something valuable to contribute, we can create opportunities for young people that simply would not exist otherwise.
That is what partnership means to us. It isn't about placing two logos next to each other. It is about combining our strengths, resources, networks, knowledge and passion to create something meaningful for the young people and communities we serve. When you partner with Young Leaders Youth Services, you become part of a bigger story one focused on connection, opportunity, early intervention, positive role modelling and giving young people genuine pathways towards their future.
Every young person deserves someone who believes in them and a community willing to create opportunities for them. Unfortunately, not every young person begins with the same opportunities, support networks or positive influences around them. Some young people need someone to open the first door. Others need someone to walk through it with them. Our mentors work directly alongside young people, building genuine relationships and helping them develop confidence, independence, practical skills and stronger connections with their community. But mentorship becomes even more powerful when an entire community stands behind it. Through partnership, we can connect young people with experiences beyond traditional support services workplaces, sporting clubs, businesses, education, trades, community events, workshops, training opportunities and positive networks. A conversation can become a connection. A connection can become an opportunity. An opportunity can become a career, a qualification, a new passion or simply the moment a young person begins believing in themselves. That is the impact partnership can create.
Partnership with Young Leaders Youth Services is open to organisations and individuals who share our commitment to strengthening opportunities for young people and our communities.
We welcome partnerships with:
There is no single model for partnership because every organisation has something different to offer. Your contribution does not always need to be financial. You might provide a venue for a youth program. Your employees might share their skills through a workshop. A sporting organisation might provide young people with access to training. A business might offer workplace exposure, work experience or employment opportunities.
A company might sponsor equipment, uniforms, activities, transport or a community event. A school might collaborate with us to develop an engagement program specifically for its students. A community organisation might identify an unmet need and work alongside us to build a solution.
Partnerships can include:
We want partnerships to be meaningful, practical and mutually beneficial.
If you have an idea, we want to hear it.
Imagine a young person walking into a workplace for the first time and discovering an industry they never knew existed. Imagine a student who struggles in a traditional classroom discovering confidence through learning a practical skill. Imagine a young person who feels disconnected from their community joining a sporting program and finding positive friendships and mentors. Imagine a local business meeting a young person through one of our programs and eventually giving them their first employment opportunity. These moments matter. Partnerships can create opportunities that extend far beyond a single program or event.
Together, we can help create:
The greatest outcome isn't simply delivering another program. It is helping create communities where young people can see a future for themselves.
Most importantly, you receive the opportunity to know that your organisation helped create something that may have changed the direction of a young person's life.
We respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land on which we work and live. We pay our respects to Elders past, present, and emerging, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
We recognise their ongoing connection to land, waters, and culture, and are committed to working together towards reconciliation and understanding.
