Capacity building for youth and young adults refers to developing the skills, confidence, and independence they need to thrive in everyday life. It focuses on building strengths such as communication, decision making, emotional regulation, social skills, problem solving, and practical life skills. Capacity building helps young people grow their resilience, participate in their community, and work toward long term goals like education, employment, and independent living.

Capacity-building supports empower young NDIS participants to develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to achieve their goals and participate meaningfully in their community. These supports focus on fostering independence, enhancing social connections, and building resilience, preparing youth to take charge of their future and thrive across schooling, employment, and life.

Programs and workshops provide NDIS participants with safe, engaging opportunities to build confidence, learn new skills, and form positive social connections. They encourage independence, personal growth, and community participation, helping each young person discover their strengths while creating a sense of belonging and empowerment.

School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES) provide young NDIS participants with the guidance, skills, and confidence needed to successfully transition from school into the workforce. By focusing on job readiness, career development, and independence, SLES empowers youth to pursue meaningful employment opportunities and build a strong foundation for their future.

SIL provides intensive daily support for NDIS participants who require significant assistance in their living environment. These supports help with personal care, household tasks, community access, and skill-building, all while promoting independence, choice and a meaningful life in a home environment.
