YOUTH NDIS SUPPORTS

At Young Leaders Youth Services (YLYS), we proudly support young people aged 10 to 25. We are dedicated to empowering individuals with physical and mental disabilities by supporting them to build greater independence, confidence, and purpose. What sets us apart is our commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care that helps each person reach their full potential and lead a meaningful life.

Our mission is to enrich lives through personalised support, delivered by experienced and empathetic staff who truly understand the unique needs of each individual. By focusing on person-centred care, we aim to create stronger, healthier, and more inclusive communities across Australia.

Our vision is simple yet powerful — a world where every person has access to the quality of life they deserve.

We provide tailored one-on-one mentoring and community-based supports designed to meet the unique goals and needs of each young person. Whether they are living in Out-of-Home Care (OOHC), with foster carers, or in family settings, our focus is on building strong, positive relationships that empower young people to grow in confidence, independence, and self-worth.

Our NDIS supports include:

  • Individualised mentoring for social, emotional, and life skills development

  • Support with building routine and daily living skills

  • Community access and participation

  • Assistance with emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies

  • Goal-focused programs aligned with NDIS plan outcomes

  • Support for young people disengaged from school, education, or employment

Our experienced and trauma-informed mentors work across NSW and support both plan-managed and self-managed NDIS participants. We are committed to creating safe, supportive environments where young people feel heard, valued, and motivated to reach their full potential.

By connecting with others and participating in meaningful group experiences, participants improve social confidence, reduce isolation, and gain a stronger sense of belonging within their community.

Each session is run by experienced mentors who provide positive role modelling, emotional support, and guidance every step of the way.
