Through tailored mentoring and disability supports, we help youth build independence, resilience, and confidence. Our focus includes reducing homelessness, improving wellbeing with trauma-informed care, strengthening school engagement, and providing positive alternatives to justice system involvement. By developing essential life skills, such as communication, daily living, and job readiness, we equip young people to transition into adulthood empowered, supported, and ready to achieve their goals.
Our Mentoring Services are designed to provide flexible, holistic, and wraparound supports tailored to the individual needs, goals, and circumstances of each young person. Every mentoring journey focuses on empowerment, consistency, and connection, ensuring that each young person feels heard, supported, and motivated to grow.
Our Youth disability support services provide personalised assistance to young people living with disabilities to help them achieve independence, confidence, and meaningful participation in their communities. These services focus on building life skills, promoting inclusion, and empowering young people to reach their personal, social, and educational goals.

Young Leaders Youth Services (YLYS) currently provides mobile supports across several regions of New South Wales, with services steadily expanding.

As of now, Young Leaders Youth Services (YLYS) is not yet a registered NDIS provider. We currently operate as a non-registered provider, which allows us to deliver supports and services to participants who are self-managed or plan-managed. Many participants across Sydney, Illawarra, and the Nepean region have already come on board and continue to support our journey as we work toward full accreditation.
At YLYS, we are committed to ensuring our organisation meets the highest standards of accreditation, compliance, and training. We pride ourselves on delivering consistent, high-quality care and support to all participants, and we are dedicated to building the systems and safeguards that guarantee safe, reliable, and person-centred services.
We believe that individualised, one-on-one support is the key to helping young people achieve their goals. Every participant is unique, which is why our mentors and support workers tailor each session to meet personal needs, interests, and abilities.
With YLYS, participants aren’t just matched with a mentor, they’re connected to a support network that’s there when they need it most. Our 1:1 supports are delivered in a safe, consistent, and engaging way, balancing fun with skill development and personal growth.
And while one-on-one support builds confidence and independence, we also encourage opportunities to join group activities where participants can practice social skills, connect with peers, and enjoy being part of a community.
No, Young Leaders Youth Services (YLYS) is not a free service provider.
